At Physio2go we offer are client’s ultrasound guided injections.
When performing an ultrasound guided injection, the sound waves which leave the handheld probe bounce off the needle as it goes through the tissues in the body. This gives a clear image of the needle and allows the clinician to be able to see the precise direction of the injection to the specific area requiring intervention.

Ultrasound guidance can be helpful when injecting Ostenil (Hyaluronic acid) and corticosteroid. It is also extremely helpful for carrying out procedures such as barbotage and joint aspiration.
